The Game On! BBQ Challenge · Version 2026-06-16

The Game On! BBQ Challenge (the "Contest") is sponsored by Game On Fenway, LLC, d/b/a Game On! ("Sponsor").

By entering this Contest, participants (the “Entrant(s)”) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating in any way to the Contest.

1Contest Overview

Boston loves sports. Boston loves food. Boston loves a good competition.

The Game On! BBQ Contest is a fan-powered sandwich competition featuring Vince Wilfork's GHI 75 BBQ Sauce. Fans submit original sandwich creations, the public votes for their favorites, and the five highest vote-getting entries advance to a live final judging event at Game On! Boston on August 26, 2026.

The winning sandwich will be featured on the Game On! menu for up to one (1) year, at Sponsor's sole discretion. The Contest is solely intended to drive fan participation, digital engagement, social content, and promotional activity surrounding the Game On! brand and Vince Wilfork's GHI 75 BBQ Sauce.

2Eligibility

General Eligibility. The Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of the date of entry.

Excluded Individuals. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the Contest:

Employees and affiliates. Employees of Game On! Boston, Lyons Group Ltd. (“Lyons Group”), GHI 75 BBQ Sauce, affiliated sponsors, and advertising agencies.

Immediate family members. Parents, legal guardians, siblings, spouses, domestic partners, children, and individuals residing in the same household (whether related or not) as any individual described in Section 2.

Judging Panel members. The judges and their immediate family members (defined above in Section 2).

Sponsor reserves the right to verify and/or revoke eligibility at any time in its sole discretion.

3Entry Period

Contest entries open at 9:00 AM Eastern Time on June 17, 2026. Each Entrant may submit only one (1) Entry during the contest entry period. Multiple entries from the same individual will result in disqualification of all such entries.

Voting begins immediately upon approval and publication of eligible entries and continues through 11:59 PM Eastern Time on July 31, 2026.

Entries close at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on July 31, 2026.

Sponsor reserves the right to extend, shorten, modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest at any time.

4Entry Requirements

To enter, participants must submit:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Sandwich name
  • Complete ingredient list
  • Preparation instructions
  • At least one photograph of the sandwich

Each submitted sandwich must:

  • Be an original creation of the entrant (their own original work)
  • Be a sandwich
  • Utilize Vince Wilfork's GHI 75 BBQ Sauce as a primary ingredient
  • Use any available GHI 75 BBQ Sauce variety, including:

Sweet & Spicy

Hickory & Brown Sugar

  • Feature chicken, beef, pork, or fish as the primary protein
  • Include any other toppings, ingredients, sauces, cheeses, vegetables, breads, or condiments chosen by the Entrant

Information regarding where GHI 75 BBQ Sauce may be purchased online or at participating retailers will be provided on the Contest website.

Submissions may not contain any ingredient that is illegal, prohibited, or restricted under federal, state, or local law or regulation.

Sponsor reserves the right to reject any submission for any reason or no reason, including any submission that is incomplete, offensive, unsafe, impractical, fraudulent, or otherwise inconsistent with the spirit of the Contest in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

5Voting

Approved entries will be posted online by Sponsor for public voting.

Voting Mechanism. Approved Entries will be made available for public voting on the official Contest website. Voting will open immediately upon publication of each approved Entry and will close at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on July 31, 2026.

Voting Limitations. Each individual may cast one (1) vote per approved Entry per verified email address during the Voting Period. Sponsor may implement email verification, or other technological measures to prevent fraudulent or automated voting.

Prohibited Voting Conduct. The following conduct is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification of the associated Entry and/or removal of votes:

Use of automated voting systems, bots, scripts, or other technological means to cast votes;

Purchasing, trading, or soliciting votes in exchange for money, goods, services, or other consideration;

Creating multiple email accounts or using false identities for the purpose of casting multiple votes;

Hacking, tampering with, or otherwise interfering with the voting system or website;

Engaging in vote manipulation, ballot stuffing, or other fraudulent voting activity; or

Any other conduct that Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, undermines the integrity or fairness of the voting process.

Sponsor reserves, in its sole discretion, the right to remove votes, disqualify participants, suspend voting privileges, or remove entries if fraud, manipulation, automated voting, vote buying, or any other improper conduct is suspected.

All voting determinations are final.

6Finalists

At the conclusion of the voting period, the five (5) entries receiving the highest number of eligible votes will become finalists.

Finalists must participate in a pre-event preparation session at Game On! on a date designated by Sponsor.

This session will be used for:

  • Taste consistency review
  • Operational feasibility review
  • Photography and videography
  • Social media content creation
  • Media and promotional purposes

Failure to participate may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate finalist in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Finalists will not receive any compensation for time spent at the preparation session. Finalists are responsible for all costs and expenses associated with attending the preparation session, including but not limited to transportation, parking, lodging, and meals.

7Live Finals Event

Finalists must be available and present on August 26, 2026, between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Game On! located at 82 Lansdowne Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02215. Finalists must arrive at the time specified by Sponsor and remain for the duration of the event.

During the Live Finals Event:

Each Finalist will work alongside Game On! culinary staff to prepare their sandwich in accordance with the recipe and specifications finalized during the preparation session;

Finalists may be required to present their sandwich to the judges or judging panel and describe the inspiration, ingredients, preparation, and flavor profile;

All ingredients, equipment, and culinary staff assistance will be provided by Sponsor.

Finalists may not bring outside ingredients or equipment without prior written approval from Sponsor.

Conduct at Live Finals Event. Finalists must:

Conduct themselves in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner at all times;

Comply with all instructions and directions from Sponsor, event staff, and venue personnel;

Comply with all applicable laws and venue policies, including policies regarding alcohol consumption, smoking, and disorderly conduct; and

Refrain from any conduct that Sponsor deems, in its sole discretion, to be disruptive, inappropriate, unsafe, or inconsistent with the professional image of the Contest or Sponsor.

Sponsor retains sole discretion over food safety protocols, kitchen access, and preparation procedures. Finalists are responsible for their own transportation and incidental expenses unless otherwise agreed in writing by Sponsor. Finalists will not receive any compensation for time spent at the Live Finals Event.

The Live Finals Event may be filmed, photographed, live-streamed, or otherwise recorded by Sponsor and its designees for promotional, advertising, social media, broadcast, and other commercial purposes. By participating as a Finalist, each Finalist (and their guests, if any) consents to such recording and grants the rights to Sponsor and Sponsor’s designees.

8Judging

The winner will be selected by a panel of judges designated by Sponsor, which may include Vince Wilfork, celebrity guests, media personalities, culinary professionals, and representatives of Sponsor (the “Judges”).

Sandwiches will be evaluated by the Judges on:

  • Appearance;
  • Taste;
  • Feasibility for inclusion on the Game On! menu; and
  • Overall appeal.

All judging decisions are final, binding, and not subject to challenge or appeal. No Entrant, Finalist, or other participant shall have any right to dispute, contest, or appeal any judging decision, score, or outcome.

9Prizes

One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive:

  • Recognition as the winner of The Game On! BBQ Contest
  • Inclusion of the winning sandwich on the Game On! menu for up to one (1) year (in Sponsor’s discretion)
  • The Killer Griller Prize Pack
  • Additional prizes, if any, determined by Sponsor

No cash alternatives are available.

Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value in its sole discretion.

10Ownership of Entries

All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor. By submitting an entry, Entrant waives any and all claims for royalties, compensation, licensing fees, revenue participation, residuals, or future payments arising from the use, sale, promotion, publication, commercialization, modification, or distribution of any submitted recipe or sandwich concept. Entrant irrevocably assigns, transfers, and conveys to Sponsor or Sponsor’s designee all right, title, and interest worldwide, in perpetuity, in and to:

  1. The sandwich recipe, including all ingredient list(s), ingredient combination(s), preparation method(s), cooking instruction(s), measurements, temperature(s), timing, technique(s), and specifications;
  2. The sandwich name, concept, and all associated branding, trademarks, and trade dress;
  3. All submission materials, including written descriptions, photographs, videos, and promotional content;
  4. All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademark rights, trade secret rights, and any other proprietary rights, whether registered or unregistered, in any of the foregoing; and
  5. All derivative works, adaptations, modifications, and improvements to any of the foregoing.

Sponsor shall have the unrestricted right, but not the obligation, to:

  1. Use, reproduce, distribute, sell, license, sublicense, and commercialize the sandwich recipe in any form and in any media or channel, including but not limited to restaurant menus, retail packaged food products, meal kits, franchising, licensing, cookbooks, digital publications, and online platforms;
  2. Create derivative works, adaptations, variations, and modifications of the sandwich recipe;
  3. Register trademarks, copyrights, patents, or other intellectual property rights in the sandwich name, recipe, or related materials;
  4. Combine the sandwich recipe with other recipes, products, brands, or intellectual property owned or controlled by Sponsor or third parties; and
  5. Assign, transfer, or license any or all of the foregoing rights to third parties.

Sponsor may use, modify, rename, reproduce, market, sell, license, or discontinue any submitted sandwich at its sole discretion.

11Publicity Release

By entering the Contest, Entrants grant Sponsor, Lyons Group, Game On!, Vince Wilfork, GHI 75 BBQ Sauce, participating sponsors, and any and all of their divisions, licensees, affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, and all related entities, and its and their directors, officers, employees, partners, members, representatives, trustees, agents, successors, predecessors, and assigns the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use entrant’s:

  • Name
  • Photograph
  • Image
  • Likeness
  • Voice
  • Biographical information
  • Social media content
  • Contest submission materials

for advertising, publicity, marketing, promotional, social media, public relations, broadcast, digital, print, and commercial purposes related in any way to the Contest without additional notice, approval, or compensation.

Entrants acknowledge and agree that they will not receive any compensation, payment, royalty, or consideration for the use of their name, image, likeness, or other publicity rights.

12Menu Rights

The winning sandwich, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, may appear on the Game On! menu for up to one (1) year.

Sponsor retains sole authority regarding:

  • Pricing
  • Naming
  • Ingredients
  • Modifications
  • Marketing
  • Availability
  • Duration on menu

Sponsor may remove, alter, rename, or discontinue the sandwich at any time without notice.

13Release of Liability

Release of Claims. By entering the Contest, each Entrant, on behalf of Entrant and Entrant's heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns, voluntarily and irrevocably releases, discharges, and holds harmless Game On!, Lyons Group, Vince Wilfork, GHI 75 BBQ Sauce, sponsors, judges, and any and all of their divisions, licensees, affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, and all related entities to any of the foregoing, and its and their directors, officers, employees, partners, members, representatives, trustees, agents, successors, predecessors, and assigns (the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs) arising out of or related to:

  1. Participation in the Contest, including submission of an Entry, voting, and attendance at the preparation session or Live Finals Event or any other Contest event;
  2. Acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or prize component;
  3. Any injury, illness, death, or property damage occurring during or as a result of participation in the Contest or any Contest-related event or activity;
  4. Any technical, mechanical, or human error related to the Contest, including errors in entry submission, vote tabulation, judging, winner selection, or prize fulfillment;
  5. Any defect, deficiency, or food safety issue related to any sandwich prepared, served, or consumed in connection with the Contest;
  6. Any breach or alleged breach of these Official Rules by Entrant or any third party;
  7. Any publicity, advertising, or other use of Entrant's name, image, likeness, or submission materials; and
  8. Any other matter related to the Contest, including use of Contest Entries or material.

Nothing in this Section shall limit or exclude liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Assumption of Risk. Each Entrant acknowledges and agrees that participation in the Contest and attendance at any Contest-related event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  1. Risks associated with food preparation, cooking with heat and sharp implements, and handling potentially hazardous ingredients;
  2. Risks of foodborne illness, allergic reaction, choking, or other injury from consuming food prepared during the Contest;
  3. Risks of physical injury from kitchen equipment, slips, trips, falls, or other accidents occurring at Game On! Boston or any Contest venue;
  4. Any other risks inherent in participating in a culinary competition or attending a public event at a restaurant or bar.

Food Safety and Allergen Disclaimer. Sponsor makes no representation or warranty regarding the safety, quality, or suitability for consumption of any sandwich prepared or served in connection with the Contest. Entrants, Finalists, guests, and all other participants consume food at their own risk. Individuals with food allergies, dietary restrictions, or special medical needs are solely responsible for evaluating the ingredients of any sandwich before consumption.

Entrants assume all risks associated with participation in the Contest.

14Limitation of Liability

Sponsor is not responsible for:

  • Technical failures
  • Website interruptions
  • Lost entries
  • Corrupted data
  • Unauthorized access
  • Voting system failures
  • Force majeure events
  • Event cancellation or postponement

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sponsor and all other Released Parties (defined in Section 13 above) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the Contest, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The total liability of Sponsor and any other Released Party to any Entrant (including Finalists) for any claim arising out of or relating in any way to the Contest shall not exceed the value of the prize awarded to that Entrant, if any.

15General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest at any time for any reason or no reason, in its sole discretion.

Sponsor reserves the right to interpret these Official Rules and resolve any disputes in its sole discretion.

Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may result in disqualification and legal action.

16Governing Law / Class-Action Waiver / Jury Waiver

The Contest shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without giving effect to conflict of laws principles. Entrant further agrees that any action, demand, claim or counterclaim relating in any way to this Contest, including without limitation, the Official Rules, voting, eligibility, prize awards, or use of submitted recipes, shall be resolved by a judge alone, and Entrant and Sponsor hereby waive and forever renounce the right to a trial before a civil jury. Any dispute, action, demand, claim or counterclaim relating to this Contest must be brought individually and shall be resolved on an individual basis only and not as a class action, consolidated action, representative action, or any other form of group or collective proceeding.

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.

Acknowledgement

By submitting an entry, each Entrant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Official Rules and voluntarily agree to be bound by them.
