The Challenge

The Game On BBQ Sandwich Challenge (the “Challenge”) is a BBQ sandwich competition run by Game On Sports Bar, 82 Lansdowne Street, Boston, MA 02215 (“Game On”), hosted by Vince Wilfork. Fans submit their best BBQ sandwich build, Boston votes, and the top five finalists cook live at Game On on August 26, 2026, where Vince Wilfork and a panel of celebrity judges pick the winner.

The Two Rules

• It must be a sandwich. If it doesn't hold together between bread, it's not in the running.
• It must use Gotta Have It BBQ Sauce. Every build includes Gotta Have It BBQ Sauce as an ingredient.

How to Enter

• Entries open June 15, 2026 and close July 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.
• Enter at gameonboston.com/bbq-challenge: name your sandwich, list 3 to 12 ingredients, and add one photo.
• One verified entry per email address.
• Entries are reviewed before they appear in the public gallery. Game On may decline or remove any entry at its discretion (offensive content, duplicate submissions, entries that break the two rules, or anything that doesn't belong in front of a crowd).

Eligibility

• Entrants must be 21 years of age or older.
• Any additional eligibility requirements will be posted on this page before entries close.

Voting

• Public voting opens July 13, 2026 and ends July 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.
• One vote per email address, verified by a confirmation code. Unverified votes don't count.
• Votes cast outside the voting window are not counted.

Finalists & the Live Cook-Off

• The five entries with the most verified votes advance to the live cook-off.
• The cook-off takes place August 26, 2026 at Game On, 82 Lansdowne Street, Boston. Free admission with RSVP; capacity is limited.
• Finalists build their sandwiches live in front of Vince Wilfork and a panel of celebrity judges. The judges' decision is final.
• Finalists must be available to cook in person at the August 26 event; full logistics are confirmed directly with the top five.

The Prize

• The winning sandwich runs on the Game On menu for a full year — the winner's build, with their name on it.
• The winner also receives the ‘Killer Griller’ Prize Pack. Full contents announced soon.

Your Entry Content

By entering, you grant Game On a non-exclusive license to display your sandwich name, ingredients, photo, story, and first name with last initial in the contest gallery and in promotion of the Challenge (website, social, email, in-venue). You confirm the photo is yours.

General Conditions

• Game On may update these rules, adjust dates, or cancel the Challenge if it can't run as planned; material changes will be posted on this page.
• The Challenge is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform.
